Many bridal couples tell us afterwards how difficult the planning of the wedding was and that they invested a lot of time in it. After all, a wedding like this is not organized that often in life, so you can't fall back on your own experience. We have put together the following tips for you to make your planning a little easier.

1 - WEDDING LOCATION

One of the most important decisions for the special day is to decide on the wedding location. Because that's where you'll be spending most of your wedding day. Whether it ends up being a hall, an outdoor venue or a festival hall, you should first and foremost think about the weather and the number of guests. The decoration should be adapted to the wedding location, a beautifully long tulle decorated with bright flowers around the wooden arch provides aesthetics. Attention should also be paid to the lighting and acoustics of the ballroom.

2 - WEDDING PLANNER

If you are planning to hire a wedding planner, you should first be informed by the planner step by step about the detailed work. You will quickly realize that if you have an informational interview with several wedding planners, almost all of them are perfectionists. And that's exactly what you need for your wedding day. A wedding planner costs money, no question about it, about 10% of the wedding budget is the norm. However, it's worth it because you don't have to organize as much or anything yourself. You can sit back and relax and think about how everything should be and the wedding planner will implement your ideas.

If you want to plan your wedding yourself, you should start with a to-do list. The list should then be organized chronologically. For example, it would be advisable to create a guest list first. 3 - WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER & VIDEOGRAPHER

When choosing a wedding photo/film team, it is important that the person has a good rapport with you. Because if you are under stress, the person who accompanies you throughout the day should not bring you down, but cheer you up. The booked wedding photographer/videographer should work as part of a team, as it can happen that you get sick, an equally good wedding photographer/videographer should be able to attend your wedding. As you will only have these photos as a memento at the end, you should look for a professional team.

4 - WEDDING HAIRDRESSER

When looking for the right hairdresser, you should take a look at the hairdressers' websites. There you can see the level of quality at which they work. You can then decide on at least three hairdressers. You should then ask whether there are any appointments available for your wedding day. Then, once you have decided on a hairstyle, make an appointment and have your hair styled by the various hairdressers. This method allows you to compare hairdressers and choose which hairdresser will prepare you for your wedding.

5 - WEDDING BAND

The wedding band should choose the music according to your taste. Because if the music is good but doesn't suit your rhythm or your ear, it will quickly put you in a bad mood. At this point, it is also advisable to consider the tastes of the guests, as you want to have fun together on the dance floor. Organizing games that are coached by the wedding band will create an amusing atmosphere. That's why you can discuss everything with the band in advance.

6 - BRIDAL BOUQUET

For the bridal bouquet, it is advisable to give a fabric sample to the florist so that the right shade of flowers can be selected. It would also be advantageous to consider a small color spectrum in advance, such as pink, purple, yellow flowers with some greenery, i.e. spring colors. Then the florist will surely find the right tone, which bright/intense colored flowers fit. A corsage for the groom should not be forgotten :)

7 - BRIDESMAIDS

The dear helpers. They are usually our closest friends, but you should also consider whether they are well-organized, planning friends. Above all, they should be your loved ones who can minimize stress from the environment.

8 - WEDDING CAKE

This point is one of the most beautiful and above all most delicious 🙂 You should look at photos on the internet. You can save the photos you like to show them to your pastry chef. For the filling, it would be best to ask for the pastry chef's list. Whether fresh fruit or pureed, butter or chocolate cream...there are many details that will be made easier for you. If the wedding cake is then decorated with your initials, this adds a personal touch. Don't forget to ask whether the wedding cake is delivered or has to be collected. Bon appétit at the wedding :)

9 - WEDDING DRESS

The most difficult thing of all. You should be open-minded in your search for the right wedding dress. You can usually find out which shape and cut suits your own body by trying it on. Therefore, try on as many different wedding dresses as possible. You will be surprised at what comes out. But don't let yourself be talked into a wedding dress that you don't like. If you go to the wedding boutiques during the week, when it is quieter, you can also search in peace. This way, the professional in the wedding dress store will be more focused on you. When having your measurements taken, you should take your bridal shoes with you so that the measurements are correct in the end.

10 - WEDDING DRESS ACCESSORIES

The wedding dress accessories should not be missing. You could choose pearls for a classic and elegant style. But if you also have an heirloom that means a lot to you, this will also be the right choice as long as you feel comfortable with it, because that's what matters in the end.
